The Cape May ferry terminal buildings are distinctive and modern, with stairwells and elevators with enclosed walkways. Pedestrians board the ships via the walkways, preventing vehicles from entering the vehicle deck below. Among the amenities available in the terminal building are gift shops, food courts, bars, restaurants, ticketing, and information kiosks.
The ferry, which consists of three boats and two terminals, is operated by the Delaware River and Bay Authority. The ferry departs from the Cape May terminal, located at 1200 Lincoln Boulevard in North Cape May.
The three vessels transport vehicles (passengers, cars, buses, buses, RVs, trailers, motorcycles, and bicycles) and pedestrians; each vessel holds 100 cars.
