About Rip Tide Restoration

Rip Tide Restoration is owned and operated by Joseph Wallace and Sandy Lucido. The company was formed in July of 2020 after our current employer closed restoration operations in Delaware to focus more on catastrophic losses.

Who We Are

Currently we have 6 other full time team members that work out in the field and perform various duties depending on the type of work that Rip Tide was hired to do. As we grow our goal is to provide more jobs to the area.

Joseph Wallace
Before starting his career in the restoration business, Joe was a former Marine with 4 years of service to our country. He currently holds a masters as a fire & smoke restorer as well as a master’s in water damage restoration. He has plans in the near future to complete courses as a master textile restorer. Additionally he holds other certifications obtained through the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification). He is classified as a mold remediation supervisor as well through Aerosol Monitoring & Analysis, INC. Joe is the lead estimator for the company and is well versed in the insurance based estimating program, Xactimate. Joe has long term experience working with property management companies as well as the HOAs or individuals they represent.

Sandy Lucido
Sandy has worked in the restoration business for over 7 years. She has held various positions during that time such as contents manager and project coordinator. Her expertise is in office management and customer service. Sandy is knowledgeable in working with adjusters and insurance companies to resolve claims, she understands each customer’s experience is unique and communication is key on any job.

Samantha Gwinn
Samantha Gwinn is our contents manager and a junior estimator for Rip Tide. She specializes in content cleaning and inventory. She holds a IICRC certification in water and is working to become certified in fire and smoke. She has performed mitigation work prior to handling contents. Sam understands how a loss can be very traumatic for a client. She will provide a complete photo inventory with description which relieves the customer of this daunting task.
